# Dial-out error

> The dial-out has an error

Emitted when the dial-out session encounters an error when connecting to a call.

## Common fields

  Represents the version of the event. Uses semantic versioning to inform a consumer if the payload has introduced any breaking changes.

  Represents the type of the event described in the payload.

  An identifier representing this specific event.

  An object representing the event, whose fields are described below.

<ParamField body="event_ts" type="number">
  Documenting when the webhook itself was sent. This timestamp is different than the time of the event the webhook describes.

## Payload

  The Unix epoch time in seconds representing when this event occurred.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="session_id" type="string">
  The sessionId of the dial-out session.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="user_id" type="string">
  The userId of the dial-out session (if supplied during the API call).
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="domain_id" type="string">
  ID of the domain for which dial-out has error.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="room" type="string">
  The name of the room where dial-out has error.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="error_msg" type="string">
  message describing the error
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="provider" type="string">
  The SIP/PSTN provider handling the dial-out (e.g. `"daily"`).
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="sip_call_id" type="string">
  The SIP Call-ID of the dial-out call leg, if available.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="sip_headers" type="object">
  The custom `X-` SIP headers returned by the remote SIP endpoint when it rejected the dial-out,
  useful for debugging and error interpretation. Only present when the rejection response carried
  such headers.
